About
Melis Gördem is a third-year at Rutgers University—New Brunswick. She is majoring in Psychology and double minoring in Creative Writing and English to get the best out of all of her passions. While balancing her coursework, she enjoys writing melodramatic poetry in the moment or when reminiscing life experiences. Her poetry is featured in the following published collected works: She Will Speak Series: Gender-Based Violence Anthology, Art Cult Zine Issue #11, and Genre: Urban Arts Issue #8.
